My passion for health, movement, and helping others has been a lifelong journey

Hi, I'm Emma

The Pilates Lady

Growing up, I was always sporty and competed as a swimmer. One of my proudest moments was coaching my daughter to the Youth Olympic Games—a true highlight of my love for fitness and family.

I take a holistic view of health and believe in balance—whether that’s through my 80/20 approach to healthy eating (because life’s too short to skip lovely things) or creating fitness routines that are as enjoyable as they are effective.

With a postpartum qualification, I’m especially passionate about helping women build a stronger, functional core—something that’s integral to everything we do in life, from picking up your kids to smashing your fitness goals.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me traveling, walking, exercising, exploring delicious food, or spending time with my family. I’d love to help you feel your best and discover the joy of movement!

My Personal Story

19 years ago, I had an obstetric haemorrhage and my baby had to be delivered 14 weeks early. I nearly died, but thanks to the amazing medical team & lots of blood and platelets (>60 units), I survived.

I was in hospital for 4 months, my road to recovery felt almost impossible. I couldn’t walk or eat and was in tremendous pain, and I was very sad. But, I recovered! How did I do this?? So many things! It took a while..with blood, sweat and tears but I did it. Lots of healing- physically, mentally and spiritually. So, I followed a plan, my plan, and one I use to this day.

I also know that I tapped into my ‘athlete brain’ one that I used throughout my competitive sporting years, to access my inner drive and trust in my body which felt so broken. This in part, enabled me to heal, recover and now I feel the strongest version of myself ever!

Having a baby does change your body even if everything goes smoothly but with patience and perseverance you can also achieve whatever you desire, even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time. It’s now my mission to help others, I understand..Sepsis, emergency C sections, pain, blood, grief-

I’ve now turned my sporting and nursing background as well as personal experience to helping women restore and recover their fitness so that they can return to their life, and have their strongest body ever!

This is one of my big ‘Why’s’ for becoming a coach, to take my story and experience to help other moms
